WOS Stallions wrangle HF Short Horns

The Stallions hosted the Hamshire-Fannett Short Horns for their final home game of the year.

The 7th grade team played first, winning 15-0. Keontae Strother rushed for the first TD, and Jackson Tims connected with Da'vion Riggs for the 2 point conversion. Wilbert Ned added another TD and Jacob Holland added the point after. Defensively the Stallions were led by Kristopher Taylor and Zyon Moore.

The 8th grade team finished the night with a 35-6 win. Justin Sibley, Brettlin Wiley, Ja'vonn Ross and Deiondr'e Hawthorne each rushed for a touchdown with Wiley throwing a TD pass to Jordan Johnson as well. Ross converted two 2 point conversions and Damioun Apodaca kicked one point after. Defensive standouts for the Stallions were Ross, Hawthorne and Johnson.

The Stallions will play their final game of the season Thursday, Oct. 30, at Hardin Jefferson.
