Last updated 11/11/2014 at Noon

Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School will host a community pep rally at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, at Battlin’ Bear Stadium. The purpose of this pep rally is to show school spirit as our football team advances to the play offs. Also at this pep rally, we will celebrate the successes of our cross-country team, volleyball team and marching band. The band will present an encore performance of their state show, Rite of Spring. Football playoff shirts will be sold for $15 and are currently available at the high school.

LCM will also use this event to launch our annual canned food drive, which benefits the local Salvation Army and Orange Christian Services. This event is sponsored by Granger Chevrolet and KOGT radio. A Granger truck will be on hand and all pep rally attendees are asked to bring a canned food or nonperishable item to help fill the truck on Thursday night.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m., the Bears will take on Carthage at Abe Martin Stadium, Lufkin High School, at 309 South Medford in Lufkin.
