Individuals, WO-S Journalism Team place at UIL practice meet

WO-S High School journalism students competed and placed at the UIL Academic Practice meet hosted at Hamshire-Fannett High School this past weekend.

Brittany Barclay placed second in News Writing and Editorial Writing; and she also placed fifth in Feature Writing and Headline Writing. ]Kaylynn Roberts placed fourth in News Writing.

The Journalism team, comprised of Barclay, Roberts, Demaric Judge, Breanna Istre, and Destiny Burkett placed second overall in the Large School Division.

WO-S Journalism students are sponsored by Meri Elen Jacobs.
