Nancy Clayton Drake, 47, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, at her residence.

She loved to cook, fish, and listening to Johnny Cash. Nancy especially enjoyed taking care of people and considered herself a loving and nurturing person. She was a loving mother and a very special grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Shabana Johnson and husband Lance of Nederland; grandson, William David Johnson; Fiance, Barrett Hayles; brother, David Dean Clayton, Jr. and three sisters, Sheila Jewel Hickman of McComb, MS., Joyce LeAnn Bonnin of Gardener, KS., and Donna June Wilkerson of Orange.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Merle Drake; parents, David Dean Clayton, Sr and Betty Lou Clayton and sister, Debra Lynn Couch.

Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 26, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
