Friday, Feb. 27, a white male entered the Kwick Stop convenience store located at 1427 Strickland Dr., Pinehurst. He approached the clerk and demanded cash from the register. His right hand was concealed in his clothing in a manner indicating he was holding a firearm. After receiving an unknown amount of cash, he exited the business and left on foot.

The suspect was wearing a blue “Old Navy” hoodie type pullover jacket, white tee shirt and what appears to be denim overalls or a similar type garment.  He was wearing blue and white tennis shoes with a green logo on each side.

Robbery is a 2nd degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
