The Orangefield Varsity Tennis team brought home four first place medals last week at the Orange County tournament. 

Girls B Doubles team, Abby Green and Ashlyn Turley and Boys B Doubles, Slade Granger and Dakota Harrison won their respective divisions. Green and Turley defeated Hardin Jefferson and Hamshire Fannett before winning the championship in a super tie breaker against Bridge City. Granger and Harrison beat Kountze and Lumberton with a championship win over Hamshire Fannett.

Playing in the Boys B singles was Sean Edgerton. He won his first match before losing to Silsbee in the quarterfinals. 

Mixed Doubles team, Cameron Choate and Alex Catt also experienced some success with a win over Buna before losing in the quarterfinals against Bridge City. 

Orangefield will take the week off before playing in Vidor’s Spring Break tournament March 13th.
