Karl Avery Stanbrough, 62, of Vidor, passed away March 7, at Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.

Born in Orange, Sept. 1, 1952, he was the son of Ray B. Stanbrough and Edna Pearl (Hall) Stanbrough. Karl enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, sailing, hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Vicka Stanbrough of Vidor and son, Avery Stanbrough, both of Vidor; brother, R. B. Stanbrough of Austin; uncle, Miles Hall and cousins, Becky, Bubba and Linda.
