Little Cypress Elementary School received a grant from International Paper. They provided each classroom Pre-K – third grade a butterfly kit and a seed set. Classrooms watched the caterpillars develop and they are hatching this week. There will be a butterfly release on Friday, April 24, at 12:45 pm.

The school has invited International Paper out to see the release of our butterflies.

Teachers will use the seeds in the month of May to grow flowers.
