​Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 Orangefield High School traveled to Sam Houston State University to compete in the 4A-Regional UIL Academic Meet. OHS brought 14 students and returned with 13 medals.

Victor Vuong placed 4th in Calculator Applications; Allie Crouch placed 6th in Editorial and 5th in Headline Writing; Scarlett Neeley was a Quarter Finalist in LD Debate; Savannah Agee placed 5th in Computer Applications; Nathalie Bergmann placed 4th in Accounting; Kristen Blanke placed 5th in Accounting.

The following students will advance to the State Meet in Austin, Tuesday, May 27: Jacob Buckles for 2nd Place Social Studies; Kristen Blanke for 2nd place Computer Applications; and the 2nd place Accounting team of Nathalie Bergmann, Kristen Blanke, Victor Vuong and Kayla Boyett.
