The Texas Department of Transportation is urging drivers to continue using caution as rivers and bayous rise across Southeast Texas following several days worth of rain across the state. There is still a possibility some low lying roadways could have standing water and any future rain could make conditions worse. TxDOT is asking drivers to not drive through standing water and instead, turn around and find an alternate route.
