OCSP Special Angels Rodeo gives to area schools
Representatives of the OCSP Special Angels Rodeo recently visited campuses in six area school districts with a great surprise. Each of the districts, which included Vidor ISD, Orangefield ISD, Bridge City ISD, Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, West Orange-Cove CISD, and Deweyville ISD received a check for $665 from the Special Angels Rodeo for their respective programs which serve students who qualify for participation in the November event. The only stipulation for the funds that were donated to the schools is that they must be used for a fun day or activity for the students in those programs. Some of the schools planned to use the funds for end of the year activities, while others are planning to use the money for fun activities to kick off the 2015-2016 school year. The Special Angels Organizers said they felt extremely blessed to be able to raise as much money as they have in the past year and to have had such a successful event in their first year. They wanted to give to these districts to make ensure special angels participants and the other students in these programs could have a fun day that was planned for and geared to them.
