Jake Lemoine, pitcher for the University of Houston was chosen by the Texas Rangers in the fourth round of the draft. Lemoine, who is 6'5", 220 lbs, is from Bridge City and has been viewed as a potential first round pick over the winter, but he has missed time due to issues with a bad shoulder.
When healthy, he has a plus fastball in the low-90s and a good slider, but it's hard to tell whether he is healthy ornot. He's someone who definitely falls in the high risk/high reward category because of his injury, and there seems to be some questions about whether he signs.
