OC Emergency Management issues weather advisory

The Orange County Emergency Management to Orange County has issued a weather advisory to all Orange County residents regarding the tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico

Judge Brint Carlton said "We are expecting heavy rain starting Monday night and early Tuesday morning in the amount of 7 – 10 inches.Rains are expected throughout the week. Flooding is expected on Tuesday and into Wednesday throughout the county, with sustained flooding in the northwest Vidor area along the Neches River near the Four Oaks Ranch Road area."

Carlton went on to say that residents of the northwest Vidor area are advised to seek alternative accommodations before Tuesday night. Residents of the affected area are also advised to secure food, water and any necessary medication in anticipation of limited access to their homes.
