Laverne Pollock Ridley, 83, of Orange, passed away July 16, at Golden Years in Orange.

Service and inurnment of cremated remains will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Born in Beaumont, April 8, 1932, she was the daughter of Eugene Pollock and Ella Mae Hall Pollock. Mrs. Ridley worked as a realtor and owned Ridley Realtor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal J. Ridley, Sr.

She is survived by sons Hal J. Ridley, Jr. of Bridge City, Raymond T. Ridley and wife Teri of Bon Wier, Walter D. Ridley, Robert R. Ridley and Leon Eric Ridley, all of Bridge City; daughters Kirby Cruse and husband George of Bridge City and Laura McKinney and husband, Rick of Hartburg; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy McNeil and Gladys Pollock and numerous other loving family.
