The WOSMS Stallions hosted the Newton Eagles Tuesday night and secured two more wins.

The Seventh grade team blanked the Eagles by a score of 28-0. The offense had contributions from several players including touchdowns from Andre Thomas, Jerren Terrell, Jasachin Harris and Darryl Bowens. Kaiden Berry and Terrell each added a two point conversion. Seventh grade secured their first shutout of the season with strong performances from Jacob Dominguez and Jerrold Brown.

The Eagles would start the eighth grade game with a spark as they ran the opening kickoff back for their only touchdown of the night.

The Stallions would have the last highlight, ending the game with a sack of the Eagles quarterback and causing a fumble as time expired.

Hykiem Taylor recovered the fumble in the end zone making the final score 20-8.

Along with Taylor, the D was lead by Ta'ron Riley, Steven Wilkerson, Terry Harris and another fumble recovery by Chavon Crawford.

On offense the Stallions got things going with a touchdown pass from Justin Veitch to Wilbert Ned.

Ned and Veitch would score again later as Ned rushed for a TD and Veitch added the conversion.

The Stallions will kickoff district play next Thursday at Liberty.
