Curl named BCCC Student of the Month

The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce announced the Bridge City High School Student of the Month for October is Jordan Curl. Jordan received his certificate at the Chamber’s Networking Coffee on October 13th hosted by The Classy Peacock. Jordan is the son of Jeff and Crystal Curl. He has a GPA of 4.82 and ranked second out of a class of 164. Jordan’s awards and honors include: National Merit Recognized Student; National Honor Student; Honor Roll; ATSSB All-Region and All-Area Band Member; TMEA All-Region Band Member; Superior Ratings at UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest and veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Voice of Democracy Award.

Jordan’s clubs and organizations include: Student Council; Marching/Symphonic/Jazz Band; Varsity Tennis (Regional Qualifier); Academic Team; Religious Education and Chess, Spanish, Ping Pong & Ultimate Frisbee Club.

In community service, Jordan has volunteered at Southeast Texas Hospitality Center and Winfree Baptist Church Vacation Bible School.

After graduation, Jordan plans to major in nursing and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Jordan received several gift certificates and gifts from area merchants.
