The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is expecting an unsettled weather pattern to continue through the weekend, before a strong cold front passes on Monday. Strong to severe storms, including a few tornadoes, are possible on Sunday. One to two inches of rain is expected as well. Tides will run above normal through the weekend, so during high tide, minor coastal flooding will be possible.

Temperatures will run 15 to 20 degrees above normal through the weekend, before near normal temperatures next week.
