With just a month from the first pitch being thrown in Jim Gilligan’s final year, Lamar University baseball season tickets are so on sale now with individual game tickets, including the highly-anticipated contest against LSU, set to start selling on Feb. 1, announced the athletic department on Tuesday.

Reserved seating is priced at $95 and adult general admission is set at $75 while child and senior general admission is $50 a seat. Fans can buy season tickets by visiting LamarCardinals.com to get them online, at the Lamar Ticket Office located in the Montagne Center or by calling 409-880-1715.

This season is a special one, not only for Gilligan’s retirement, but because LU will be at Vincent-Beck Stadium for every game until March 11; the first 14 contest are on LU’s home field. Some of those 14 include nationally-prominent programs of Arizona and LSU.

Also heading to The Beck this season will be Rice for the eighth-straight year and Houston as well as 17 games against Southland Conference foes- whether in league play or not.

It all gets started on Feb. 19 against Southeast Missouri State, and that is one of nine games in the first 10 days of the season. The first road match of the year will be the Southland Conference opener at Northwestern State. That series is followed by SLC matchups against (March 18-20), New Orleans (March 24-26), McNeese State (April 15-17), Southeastern Louisiana (May 6-8) and Sam Houston State (May 13-15).
