Frontier Families of Texas Symposium scheduled

Attention Texas History buffs -

The DRT Republic of Texas Museum will hold its Second Annual Symposium at the Austin Club, 110 E. 9th St, Austin, Thursday, Feb. 25. Presentations on “Frontier Families of Texas” will start at 10:00 a.m., to include:

  • Dr. Carolina Crimm – “DeLeon, A Tejano Family History”
  • Mary M. McAllen – “I Would Rather Sleep In Texas”
  • James Haley – “Texas Hill Country”

Tickets for the Symposium are $75, which includes a buffet luncheon. Seating is limited and reservations must be received by Feb. 17. Reservations may be made in one of three ways:
