Orangefield Tennis team participated in the Orange County Varsity tournament last Friday. Advancing to the quarterfinals this week was Aaron Sprayberry in Boys “B” Singles as well as Mixed Doubles team Taylor Decker and Jeremy Broussard and Boys “A” Doubles, Slade Granger and Dakota Harrison.

Orangefield had several advance to the semifinals. Adam WInfree lost out in this round to Silsbee in the Boys “B” singles. In the Boys “B” Doubles, Ty Hawkins and Griffin Patterson lost to Bridge City, while the team of Abby Green and Ashlyn Turley were defeated by Vidor in the Girls “A” Doubles. Orangefield will compete in Mid County on Friday, March 4. Varsity will be in Nederland and JV and Freshmen will be in Port Neches.
