Rain chances increase for weekend; some storms could be severe

The National Weather Service is expecting a small chance for rain on Friday and Saturday, before rain chances increase in the Sunday through Wednesday time frame. Some storms could be strong to severe. As much as one inch of rain could be seen each day in the stronger storms.
Along the coast, tides will be running above normal through the weekend into next week. Minor coastal flooding will be possible during high tides.
