NWS expecting continuation of dry, cool weather

The National Weather Service is expecting a continuation of the cool and dry weather through the weekend.There will be small rain chances each day next week, with Monday and Thursday having the best chance for rain. There will also be a small risk for strong to severe storms on Monday and Thursday as well.

Tides will run above normal starting on Sunday and continue through next week with the southerly flow setup.

Minor river flooding continues along parts of the Neches and Sabine. Moderate flooding is expected to continue at Bon Wier on the Sabine River through the weekend.
