Mom was a Christian who loved Jesus. She was a strong independent woman who wore many hats in the workforce. She was a single parent who raised five children whom she taught to pray and love each other. Family was her everything. She loved watching the Texans football, her soap opera and her fox news. She also loved to fish, play cards, dominos, reading, discussing politics and family get togethers.

She loved all her grand and great-grandchildren, with each one she shared a special bond. She loved all animals, cats, dogs, birds especially her Lily and Gunner. Mom was a kind soul who made people smile with a hello and have a nice day. She was always there to help anyone in need. She had two life-long friends, Freddie and Bee she loved, along with many other friends.

Surviving are her children, Cynthia DeRouen, Mary Jo and Tommy Stokes, Bobbie Jo and Paul West; grandchildren, Wendy and Jason Millen, Michael and Natalie Parker, Brandy and Jake Davis, Jerod Atkins, Cody and Tiffany Stokes, Jacob Stokes, Joshua and Emily Craven, Morgan and Robert Sandoval, Paul West, Jr. and Samantha West and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents and son, Kenneth Barbin and daughter Tina L. Barbin Roberts.

Mom, Granny, Ma Mal, we know your now at peace in Heaven. Hearing your voice, seeing your face we already miss. You never will be forgotten. Until we meet again; love you.

A special thank you to Paul and Bobbie West, her loving caregivers for over 20 years. Cremation will be handle through Claybar Funeral Home Orange.
