UPDATE - William Gant, Sr. was found deceased today. His body was found early this afternoon in the hunting club that his truck and dog were found in Tuesday night. According to Hardin County Sheriff, Ed Cain, foul play is not suspected.

A manhunt was started in the hunting club after the discovery of Gant's truck and dog.

He had been missing for three days.

PREVIOUS REPORT - The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is searching for William Gant, Sr., diagnosed with a cognitive impairment. Gant is a white male, 83 years old (DOB 8/12/1932). He is 6 feet one inch and weighs 220 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a denim shirt, blue jeans and boots.

Gant was last seen at 3:00 pm, July 30 in Kountze. He is driving a 2006 maroon Ford pickup with Texas license plate number BPS4995.

Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen's disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
