Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School will kick off orientation and Meet the Teacher week for LCM schools on Monday, Aug. 15. LCM orientation will start with 10th grade at 9:00 a.m., 11th at 11:00 a.m., 12th at 2:00 p.m. and 9th grade students and parents at 6:30 p.m. All groups will meet in the auditorium, which must be accessed through the gym, due to construction.

Mauriceville Middle School students will Meet the Teacher on Thursday, Aug. 18, from 3-5 p.m. Students are asked to wait until the first day of school to bring their supplies, rather than to Meet the Teacher.

Friday, Aug. 19, is Meet the Teacher for all Elementary Schools in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville District. These are all “come and go” events.

Mauriceville Elementary will post class rosters at 1 p.m. and parents and students can meet teachers from 1-4 p.m.

Little Cypress Elementary students and parents can Meet the Teacher from 2:30-4 p.m., while Little Cypress Intermediate will hold their Meet the Teacher from 4-5:30 p.m.

Little Cypress Junior High is still in the process of getting the campus ready for students and has not set a date. A note from school administration on their webpage says, “We regret to say that at this time we are unable to set a date for Meet the Teacher due to our construction time frame. We hope to be able to do this in the near future as we are so excited for you all to see your beautiful new school. Stay tuned! Go Cubs!

Please remember that returning students whose parents have not registered them online will not be given their class schedule or teachers’ names until this has been completed.
