June Bug Mansfield, 72, of Vidor died Thursday, Aug. 11, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

June Bug was a native and lifelong resident of Vidor. He was a member of Grace Community Church in Vidor and was owner/operator of Mansfield Sand Pit in Vidor.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, Aug. 15, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor.

June Bug is survived by his wife of 26 years Diane Mansfield; sons Arnold "Little Bug" Benard Mansfield III and Brandon Rachford and daughter, Rhonda Mansfield, all of Vidor; step-sons Brando Ashworth of Groves and Sammy Ashworth of Vidor; sister Debbie Butler of Vidor; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
