Bobby Molandes

Bobby Molandes, 77, of Vidor died Saturday, Aug. 27, at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. A native of Nacogdoches, he was a longtime Vidor resident.

He was owner/operator of United Vision Logistics. He loved fishing, hunting, carpentry, mechanics and was a jack of all trades. Bobby never meet a stranger and enjoyed talking to people.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, Sept. 1, at Bonaldo Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Dorothy Molandes; grandchildren Arron and Lalaneya Creamer and Kalika Beard.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Rose Molandes of Vidor; daughters Marilyn Jo Creamer and her husband Greg and Pam Beard and her husband Danny, all of Beaumont and Stacie Trahan and her husband Randy of LaBellle; sons Robbie Gene Molandes Jr. and his wife Laurie and Kevin Singleton and his wife Penny, all of Vidor; brothers Kennie Don Molandes and Ed Molandes Jr. and sister Patsy Bradshaw, all of Vidor; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and faithful companion Shelby.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
