The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will honor local First Responders at the first annual Bridge City National Night Out from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Bridge City Park Pavilion, 101 Parkside Dr.

The event is free. Booths will provide entertainment, food, events, games, children’s activities.

“The Ambassadors and the board decided we’d like to have an event that would honor First Responders and give our citizens a chance to get out and meet one another,” said Barbara Jane Hanneman, administrative assistant for the Chamber. “Other cities have block parties in their neighborhoods, but since Bridge City is not that big, we decided we could do it at one location.”

Bridge City Chamber invites the Bridge City and surrounding area communities to attend this night for America to stand together and promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.

Vendor booth spaces are available for local businesses and organizations. These booths are at no fee and chamber membership is not required. Activity selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. Donations will be accepted. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
