Kaz’s Fearless Forecast NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (12-4) over INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (12-5) 7:15 p.m. Saturday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. (CBS)—This was the season the Pats were going to slip back to mediocrity, but here they are hosting a divisional playoff game. The big question is can the magic that got the Colts past the wild card round continue? I believe Bill Belichick’s defense will see to it that the 7 ½-point underdog Colts and quarterback Andrew Luck’s luck ends in Foxborough Saturday night in a 38-34 shootout...

His Christmas break had raced by all too quickly and we found ourselves with this one opportunity to get in his promised fishing trip. His older brother and cousin opted to simply roll over, pull their covers a little tighter and dream of warmer days. If walking across the ice crusted lawn at first light was cold, our initial seven mile boat ride would...

COLD A 20-YEAR LOW After the big freeze comes the big thaw. The high pressure system that dropped termeratures into the teens and 20s, will move out, allowing much warmer weather and moisture from the Gulf. We should be back to short sleeve weather by Friday. Three nights of freezing has destroyed foliage and left the area ugly. Most plants left exposed bit the dust. Let me caution you however, just hang on, don’t throw your plants away and don’t be quick to cut them back. Leave them alone until March, most will come back to...
