The Orange County Commissioners Court has reversed course on the employee travel policy at their regular meeting on Jan. 26. County Judge Brint Carlton said the police was adopted by the court two years ago requiring approval from the commissioners court for employees to travel. The Lamar men’s basketball game at Sam Houston State will be televised on Root Sports Southwest announced Network officials Tuesday afternoon. The game is still slated for a 6:30 p.m. tip off from the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum in Huntsville. Root Sports Southwest is the regional television home of the Houston Astros and Houston Rockets.
