    LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE OVER SOME ARE GLAD--OTHERS SAD We had a lot of good, local candidates running for various offices. Most candidates were diligent about working to gain votes. Campaigning is hard work and expensive also. We owe a debt of gratitude to anyone who would offer themselves for public office.     The ballots are in and the voters of Orange County have spoken. Super Tuesday sparked a lot of voter interest across the country on Tuesday, including Texas.
