Thomas Grant Hennigan, 73, of Fields, La., passed away Saturday, March 2, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. He was born Oct. 5, 1939 in DeRidder, La., to his parents, Frank Hennigan and Ruth (Smith) Hennigan. A Little Cypress Jr. High School student was arrested Monday. March 4, for assaulting another student, and a teacher. According to a report filed by Officer Joshua Dempsey, the school's principal said that while in the process of assaulting another student, the suspect shoved a teacher into her desk.
