The Texas Department of Transportation has a major traffic detour scheduled March 31-April 3. All I-10 eastbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road at the SH 87 exit and re-enter the interstate just past N 8th Street. Westbound I-10 traffic will be down to one lane during this time as well. In addition to the main lane closures, SH 87 at I-10 will be closed during this period. World War II sailors Eugene Goudeau of Orange, left, and Cedric Stout of Bridge City reunited over lunch Friday, March 24, at the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry in Bridge City.
