  • Body of missing man found in Newton County

    Preliminary autopsy results have revealed that the body found yesterday in southern Newton County is the body of Jason Atchley who had been reported missing a week ago on April 15th. The body was found in a wooded area off of Old Hwy. 87 just North of the Orange County line. The investigation will continue to determine the actual cause of death.
