    The Bridge City High School math team won the State UIL Academic Championship in calculator applications for the third year in a row. Brett Bertles, Stephen Dotson, Randy Dupuis, and Nick Robertson received gold medals for calculator competition on the stage of the Hogg Auditorium on the University of Texas Austin campus on Saturday, May 3.     Bridge City Students of the month are Lauren & Jenna Angelle. Twin sisters who excel in everything they do. Lauren has many Athletic Awards in volleyball, basketball and softball. She is in the Art Club at BCISD and wants to become a teacher/coach. Jenna also has many athletic awards in volleyball, basketball and softball.   • Ford Scholarships given to Texas students

    Ford and FFA today announced that more than 600 FFA students from around the country will receive “Built Ford Tough” scholarships – 239 of those students are in Texas.
