    The City of Orange has announced the activation of a railroad ‘quiet zone’ at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 23. A ‘quiet zone’ is defined as a section of rail line in which train engineers will no longer routinely sound the train’s horn when approaching railroad crossings.     The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call Monday, May 22, in reference to an accidental shooting that had occurred in the 3500 block of E. Railroad in the Vidor area.
