One of the many summer projects in the Orangefield Independent School District is underway as a work crew resurfaces the parking lot off Sand Bar Road between the field house and cafeteria of Orangefield High School and Orangefield Junior High. Students across Orange County and the state of Texas will now be attending school a set amount of minutes each school year instead of the previous number of instructional days. The City of West Orange repealed its previous coin-operated machines ordinance on Monday evening and replaced it with a new ordinance which goes into effect immediately.
