About 30 school superintendents from Region V, which includes those in Orange County, recently attended a meeting with the representative of the State Board of Education, David Bradley, to discuss how HB5 will be implemented in the 20013-14 and 2014-15 school years. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Association rolled out the red carpet Friday night for the 201 teams entered in last weekend’s Cops Helping Kids Tournament. He was native of Texas City; born on Nov. 15, 1964 to his late parents Delores Mae (Prather) and James David Watson.
