At approximately 9:40 am, there was a three vehicle crash on IH-10 in Orange County between mile markers 863 and 864. The crash involved a truck tractor semi-trailer, a passenger vehicle and an Armored vehicle. At the July 31 Texas Transportation Commission meeting, the Commission approved more than $26 million for maintenance to be performed on the Rainbow Bridge between Port Arthur and Bridge City. In an ongoing effort to improve safety and relieve congestion, the Texas Transportation Commission has approved $140,492.90 to install a right turn lane on SH62 in Orange County.
