Evelyn was born July 11, 1943 in Orange, to Clothilde (Normand) and Laurence Buriel Peveto Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Orange and was of the Baptist faith. The Texas Department of Public Safety today announced the implementation of the Impact Texas Teen Driver program (ITTD), which is a new requirement for driver license applicants who complete a teen driver education course. Monday, Aug. 24, an armed robbery was committed at Sun Loans, 1104 16th St. Orange.
