    Central Baptist Church of Buna, Texas will host an area wide one day “Worth the Wait” Conference on Saturday, Oct. 8. Conference registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the conference will begin at 9 a.m. All area teenagers from the seventh through the 12th grade are encouraged to attend.   • Pistol stolen from residence during burglary

    Orange police were dispatched to the 1500 block of W. Hart Ave. Thursday morning in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officer Tim Pruitt met with the victim, who rents the residence. The victim told police that on Wednesday, between 7:00 am and 2:30 pm, he had left the residence unattended. He also said the front door may have been left unsecured, as there were no signs of forced entry to the residence.
