    On Monday, Oct. 6, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office conducted an unannounced warrant round-up throughout Orange County. The focus of this warrant round-up was to locate and apprehend the fugitives of felony and county court misdemeanor warrants in Orange County. A total of 27 individuals were arrested during the operation. There were 34 felonies and 11 misdemeanor warrants served.     A new sporting goods store in Orange hopes to be a winner for their customers. Hibbett Sports opened a 6,000 square foot store a week ago in the Orangehurst Shopping Center in Pinehurst.
