Thursday evening at about 9:10 pm, Orange County Sheriff's Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Florence in Vidor in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 48 year old Steven Coutee of Vidor dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The person responsible for the shooting was till on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges or arrests have been made at this time. The Stallions hosted Hardin Jefferson for their final home games of the year. The combined B team kicked off the night tying the Hawks 6-6. Kaiden Berry scored the lone touchdown for the Stallions. Troy Boagni lead the defense making several tackles in the backfield along with Labarius Spraggins and Berry who each recovered a fumble. In the second game of the night the 7A team lost 12-0.
