She married J.R. “Blackie” Francois on Feb. 15, 1946, in Orange. She was a resident of Bridge City for 59 years, living the last few months of her life at Holiday Nursing Center in Center.     GetDaNet Fishing Club is preparing to host its first tournament of the 2016 year on Dec. 19, at Sam Rayburn. Weigh-in will be held at Caney Creek Park, but participants will not be required to launch there. Trailering for the tournament is O.K. This is not an open tournament.
