    The WOS (Visitors) vs. Giddings Area Round Football game will be played Friday, Nov. 21, at 7:00 pm, at Turner Stadium in Humble. Over the weekend Ms. Ginny was putting patches on “Neighbor” Cox’s longjohns. Cox first got the longjohns in 1944, WWII issue. For 70 years Ginny has mended patches on those longjohns.     Wednesday, Nov. 12, at approximately 5:00 PM, the Orange Police Department Narcotics Division, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division, conducted an operation targeting two convenience stores in the City of Orange. Officers received information that Synthetic Marijuana was being sold out of both stores. The stores were Star Stop #4, 1415 16th St. and Star Stop #5, 1104 Burton.     Leslie Carlton Jones, 76, of Orange passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He was born Nov. 10, 1938 in Beaumont, to Opal Charlene (Frey) and Thomas Jefferson Jones. He had lived in the Orange area since 1960 and was a member of North Orange Baptist Church.
