    Betty Suttle, 79, passed away surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 4, at Noxapater Baptist Church with the Rev. Trent Jaudon and the Rev. Ed Deuschle officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater.   • Armed robber steals cash, cigarettes

    December 2, at 3:45 am, the Get N Go located at 2419 16th St, Orange, was robbed at gun point. A black male suspect entered the store and stole cash and cigarettes. The suspect was wearing a pink ski mask, blue jacket and white shoes. The suspect threatened the store clerk with a black handgun and demanded the items.     Granger Chevrolet and KOGT 1600 AM radio station held its annual can food drive Thursday morning at the Granger Chevrolet dealership on MacArthur Drive in West Orange. Dozens of area residents donated hundreds and hundreds of pounds of food on Thursday, including employees from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
