The Orangefield Water Supply Corporation donated a battery operated drill, impact driver, and a hammer drill to Orangefield ISD Agriculture Department. The students will use these tools on metal and wood projects. A bend test tool will also be donated by the water supply corporation. This tool will help the district AWS certify welding students. Cheniere Energy Inc. recently donated $7,020 to Spindletop Center to aid in the reopening of the Hope Center. Last spring, State Farm awarded $7,762.58 to the Orangefield ISD Agricultural Department. The money was used to purchase a welding machine; students will learn welding skills.
