Orangefield ISD Superintendent Dr. Shaun McAlpin honored high school student Garrett Rawls with the 'Bravo' award for his bravery in saving his family during a house fire earlier this month. The presentation was made at the Orangefield School Board meeting Monday evening. Rawls' house on East Greenwood Drive was heavily damaged by a fire in the middle of the night.
