Recently the Orangefield High School Health Science seniors were able to take a field trip to Baptist Hospital Beaumont. Patient Care Technician students got a behind the scenes look at several units within the hospital including Behavioral Health, L&D and Mother/Baby, Day Surgery and the Cath Lab. The Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau is thrilled to bring back the Gumdrop Shop to downtown Orange. The Gumdrop Shop will be held at Stark Park on Saturday, December 2, from 9AM to 3PM. On Sunday November 12, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will celebrate and give thanks as it dedicates the new addition, which includes two rooms for the Mother's Day Out program, one room for the partnership with YMCA after school program, a new office, resale shop and full size gymnasium. First Saturday at First Baptist will be November 4th at 200 West Roundbunch Rd., Bridge City. The giveaway will be gently used coats, jackets, sweaters and hoodies.
