Louise Johnson “Granny Weez” Dupuy, 63, of Orange , passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 in a local hospital.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m.
Sunday, December 23, 2007 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange .
Graveside services and interment followed in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in the McLewis community of Orange .
Visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday at the funeral home.
Born on November 16, 1944 in Beaumont ,Texas to Clyde Albert and Dorothy (Poindexter) Johnson, she was a lifelong resident of Orange, and had previously worked as a manager for McDonalds in Orange and was of the Baptist faith.
Ms.
Johnson is preceded in death by her father; her daughter, Vinnie Ray Perry; sister-in-law, Lisa Ann Johnson; and her nephew, William Keith Pentecost.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Johnson of Orange; daughters, Dottie Perry and Susie Scharlene Johnson; and husband William Michael all of Orange; former husband, John Donald Dupuy of Lacomb, Louisiana; sister, Elizabeth Daugeryeaux and husband J.W. of Orange; brothers, Jimmy Clyde Johnson, Sr.
and wife Beverly of Fairmont, Texas and Eddie Lamar Johnson of Orange; grandchildren, Gregory Scott Perry, Terrina Paige Johnson and Kevin Tyler Johnson; great-grandchildren, Gavin Scott Perry, Devin Lane Perry, Chasity Rebecca Lingenfelter, Destiny Johnson and Austin Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
